We're back on the farm in Brighton heading off to next gig in Mayfield in a few minutes.
It is great to be back knowing that we have reached out target already due to everyone's support and generosity. Thanks to everyone for their help - everything from here on in is a bonus.

"Beautiful Monday" Objectives - February 12, 2009
Our target is to raise enough funds for a grain bank and water storage equipment in two villages in Africa. This will provide a relliable food source and safer, cleaner drinking water for these communities.
If we reach this target, we will travel to the communities where the equipment is being installed and make a short film for our supporters to show them who their money has helped. We will also perform for the entertainment of the comunities and the volunteers there!
"Beautiful Monday" Acoustic Tour for Oxjam - February 2, 2009
We have decided that our aim is to raise enough money to buy 50 Oxfam Buckets with a tap and a lid to keep water clean.
As you know, unclean water is the source of much disease that kills children and adult alike all over Africa. This simple bucket can help reduce the risk these people take every day.
All proceeds from "Beautiful Monday" CD sales will go to this cause.
"Beautiful Monday" Acoustic Tour 2009 - January 25, 2009
We have been working on an acoustic recording recently, playing with all those guitar and piano songs that were sitting around not doing anything.
To celebrate this, we are planning an Acoustic Tour "Beautiful Monday" in March-April 2009, around England, Ireland and Wales.
We're launching the tour on 28th March 2009 at The Centurion pub (see gig listings for more info).
We're looking forward to popping over to Belfast to share the stage with singer-songwriter and friend Eve Williams.
Please keep an eye on our gigs page for updates on gigs etc.
Looking forward to seeing you at one of our events!
Stay musical!

"Beautiful Monday" Acoustic Album - January 17, 2009
Back in the studio, we've been working on a recording of some of our acoustic material.
The intention is to keep it simple, let the songs breath and speak for themselves.
Numbers on the recording include 'Sapphire Tears', 'Shelter From The Storm' and of course 'Beautiful Monday'.
We plan to take these tracks out on tour later in the year - watch this space for dates and further info. We hope you enjoy them!
Happy humming!

DiElle will be talking about the Alex Kriche band - rock/soul/jazz on Delta FM on 8th October 2008.
'I saw Alex Kriche and his band at a private function in August. The 4 piece band are fantastic live, really engaging to watch.
Alex is a singer-songwriter in the soul / rock / jazz genre and has been performing on the international circuit – London / Toronto / New York, as well as gigging locally.
The album ‘Tailor Made’ is available through their Myspace page – hopefully we’ll be playing something from it later – my favourite track from that album is Imagination – a jazzy questioning of a relationship.
They keep themselves busy gigging and recording, and new album ‘The New Soul Funk Movement’ is coming soon.
Alex is a very entertaining chap – be sure to ask him about the dance that he does for cats! Brilliant.
We know everyone is feeling the pinch, so here are DiElle's SPECIAL OFFERS -
1) join the mailing list, and get 2 of your friends who like bands to join, and we'll send you all free badges!
2) for any ticketed gig, bring 5 people, and the band will refund your ticket money.
3) for any unticketed gig, bring a couple of people, and you will get a big kiss from every member of the band after the show.

Love Music - December 25, 2007
I sang my first solo at the school nativity at the age of 8, and have been singing ever since. I grew up listening to my Dad's record collection - Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkle, Lindisfarne, America, The Eagles, The Beatles, The Stones, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, and especially Carol King were my first true loves of music.
Having written stories and poetry from primary school, I first wrote a song at the age of 14. Guitars were always around the house, and I got my own at the age of 15. This 6-string electro-acoustic Hohner is what I still use to write now.
Music has been with me through all my rites of passage; I love it.
